The Virginia Home Social Campaign
Project type
Social Media Campaign
Date
October 2025
Location
Richmond, VA
For this class project, we developed a social media campaign for The Virginia Home, a nonprofit residential program in Richmond that provides lifelong care and support for adults with severe disabilities. The objective was to increase community awareness of The Virginia Home’s mission while highlighting the dignity, individuality, and quality of life of its residents.
The campaign focused on storytelling through compassionate, people-centered content. We created posts that showcased daily life at The Virginia Home, staff dedication, community involvement, and the organization’s values, while maintaining privacy and respect for residents. Visuals and copy were designed to feel warm, inclusive, and authentic, helping audiences better understand the impact of The Virginia Home’s work.
Overall, the campaign aimed to strengthen emotional connection, encourage community engagement, and position The Virginia Home as a vital and trusted nonprofit within the Richmond area. The written tagline and graphics I have created will be used on their social media platforms once the campaign launches.
Created through FeminaCo, a student-run agency including Emiley Vetro and Elizabeth Chalkley. My role included social strategy, social graphics, and copywriting.
